DO NOT ORDER THESE! I ordered these, they came very quickly BUT NONE OF THEM CUT AT ALL. I tried to tighten them. They tool didn’t fit.I returned them. Very easy process between UPS @0and Amazon. Got a replacement in two days. THE SAME THING. NONE OF THEM CUT. I am returning them for my money back this time. Very disappointed. I so wanted to use them groom8ng my two pups.I only selected one star because you couldn’t select NONESo far so good! I've had this set for a little over a year and I've used it about 6 times. I'm impressed with the quality for the price I paid. You've got to keep in mind that if you're looking for razor sharp and high-quality, then you're going to pay the big bucks. It is certainly worth the price you will pay for this set. It has done everything I needed it to do so far. Only downfall is I lost one of the scissors at a grooming shop the first week I had it and that was a bummer! I have I have been grooming a wired haired Jack Russell (in the photo below-she normally has a lot of hair) a few King Charles cavaliers. It does a great job on them!About what you’d expect from shears that are less than $50. They cut well for the first two weeks and then went dull super quickly. After just a few weeks of use they can’t cut hair at all anymore and just bend the hair. Even got them sharpened and it didn’t help much.Bought this set as I’m a left handed groomer….. received today and I’m not very impressed. The case was tore and missing a hold for the shears, and all the sets needed to be tightened, except the ear pluckers. Those I had to pry open and grinding dust came off of them. Do not recommend, you are better off spending 30-40$ more for the more expensive set.This set is great for the price. Got them in yesterday and went and did a full groom on my poodle mix today. They worked great, came sharp and didn't need any tightening. They aren't like like the high end shears I have gotten a chance to use in the past but for the price they can't be beat. Great for at home use or beginner groomers, the greyhound comb and hemostats are a bonus.I rarely leave bad reviews as I read the reviews carefully and this set sounded good. And I'm left handed. The scissors were completely dull and did not cut. I lost my grooming kit when I moved, my dog has hair that is easy to cut. While the thinning shears cut, the regular scissors were so dull they didn't cut even when gone over and over one place. They were as bad as my $1.50 cheap scissors I use to open boxes!I've received dull scissors before when I bought them, and my groomer says she has to. They are SCISSORS, they should CUT. These don't.Good productI Was so excited to receive left-handed scissors for my pet grooming however upon using for the first time the scissors do not cut. The thinning shears chest Bend the hair . I have two Yorkies their hair is very soft the scissors are horrible I have better luck with regular scissors from my desk drawer don’t buy the scissors don’t waste your money terrible.As difficult as it is to find a decent set of left handed scissors, I was totally disappointed when this set arrived. The first thing I did was grab the straight set and tried to trim the bangs on my standard poodle, and no way would they cut....as in not at all. They we so loose that her fur just pinched between the blades like I was using a clothes pin. Amazon took them back with no problem, although it did take close to a month for my refund to come, after I had to call to ask what was up with that. I am tempted to try again, seeing as so many have left positives reviews, and realizing I may have just received a defective set, but that "fool me once..." expression sticks in my mind.I'm a dog groomer and I just got these today and tested them on my own dog, all the shears arrived sharp. I did have to tighten them all so if yours arent cutting fur, try adjusting the tension and you'll likely see good results. I'm very impressed with these shears!Work great. You need to use the tool that comes with them to tighten the shears before you use them, and they work great very sharp.Tighten them sbd they work awesome! Perfect starter for cheap!All the sissors were extremely dull and did not cut at all. I want to return them for a full refund. Thank you.
