A concealed, thin plastic rod keep the hood of their bed raised for easy entry and exit, but can be removed when washing. That's right, the Cozy Cave is fully washable. Simply, remove the plastic rod through the small opening at the mouth of the hood and remove the filling from the base using the covered zipper in the rear of the bed.
